Prayers

Cause me to hear thy loving kindness in the morning, for in thee do I trust.

     Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift my soul up to thee.

 

Dear God

May I be pregnant with the expression of a new being;

someone more magnificent than I have been

more powerful than I have been

healthier than I have been

more alive than I have been

more at cause than I have been

more tender than I have been

more compassionate and merciful than I have been

more full of love than I have been

more tolerant, less judgmental than I have been

more at one with myself and all others

more close to you, Dear Lord, than I have been

Amen

 

Dear Lord

Please forgive my human nature

May I be reminded of the spiritual good

in myself as well as others

Amen

Lord,
If you have blessings to give me,
give them to those who do not know your mercy,
And to those who have brought on themselves misery,
let the peace you have given me be theirs.
And to those who wander in arrogant darkness,
as I have wandered before you called me,
grant that their hearts may come to bow to you
on this plain and threadbare mat of tears.
