Well, I am pleased to share with you the astonishing review I received back from my manuscript analysis that my editor did for me. I was so surprised and enthused that I had to let you all be a part of the wonderful things she had to say:
Overview:
You definitely have the makings of a page-turner. I was caught up in your story from page one and I didn't want to quit reading. This is the key to being a successful writer. You have a very good grasp on the craft of writing. Your story is very close to being one of those memorable stories we can't put down, and I want to see it reach its full potential.
I am happy to say that it is almost finished and I am hoping to have it ready to submit to publishers by July. That is my goal anyway; No promises though. Now that I am feeling better and have a little more ambition, I should be able to conquer these last few steps.
The only way I could have been blessed with this kind of opportunity is by the grace of God. I told you prayer works. :) You just have to believe--believe in yourself and Him. I hope this will inspire you to take another look at what God has to offer you. It can be life changing. I never knew real joy until I accepted Him back in my life.
The blessings just keep adding up: grand baby in July, a book nearly ready to publish, my health getting better, my friends and family whom I adore, and the inspiration from everyone, especially the gals at Inspiration for Writers!
Hope you all have a great rest of the week. I will be posting this on my facebook page "Cancer Causing Creations" as well. Which reminds me, I need to get my butt over there and start keeping up with it.
Thanks for reading,
Jen
