Prayer for the Overwhelmed

Dear God:

I don't need to know how.

I don't need to know when.

I don't need to know why.

I don't need to know where.

All I need to know is Who.

Thank you for being the one Who is always there for me.

The one Who never fails to respond to my frantic pleas for help.

Thank you for being the one Who is always dependable, ready

and able to support, protect and guide be through the

situations I face in my life.

Thank you for being the one Who knows the answer and

offers it freely.

No matter where I am or what I may need, you are always the one Who will take me by the hand and pull me through.

Thank you for being the one Who loves me when I can't find love within myself.

No matter what the situation or experience, you, God, are Who I need and what I need.

Thank you for being just Who you are and for supporting me, pushing me into

being a better me.

For who you inspire me to be, I am so grateful.  Amen.
