Book and Health News

Hello friends!

I have been so behind on this blog trying to finish my book. I am on the fifth copy of revisions. When I am finished with that (hopefully by Monday) I will send it to the editor again. I will then have to fix whatever she finds and that should be the last of "working on the book."

The next step is to submit to agents and find one who is interested and willing to find a publisher for it. This I understand can take some time; months in fact. I am sure rejections will come. Everyone gets them. It's just the thought that by May, I will actually be trying to publish my book. Incredible and very exciting. So that's the latest news with that.

As far as my health, I'm still doing ok on the new pill. It has given me some blisters on the inside of my fingers, kind of like someone held a match under them. It's hard to believe chemo can do that sort of thing on the outside. Makes you wonder what's going on inside; which reminds me, I have another scan coming up this month to see if the tumor is shrinking. I have faith it's all going to work out. It's in God's hands--all of it!

On another note, I started the Chantix for a second time last Sunday. I'm hoping to quit before grand baby gets here. I'm not doing myself any favors by smoking. It is just so hard. I'm ashamed to say I do not have enough will power to do it on my own. I have prayed that God will intervene.

That's about all I can share for now. Hope you all have a great night and a blessed tomorrow.

Thanks for reading,

Jen
